OOIDA National Call to Action
July 24, 2007

Sometime this afternoon or evening the U.S. House of Representatives will consider an amendment to HR3074, the annual transportation appropriations bill, that will cut off all funds to Pennsylvania that could be used to convert I-80 into a toll road across the state.

The amendment will be offered by Rep. John Peterson, R-PA.

Please contact your elected representative in the U.S. House of Representatives to ask him or her to vote for the Peterson amendment. Your member of Congress needs to hear from you, your family members and your fellow truckers about the importance of passing this amendment.

To contact your representative, call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, provide the operator with your home ZIP code and they will connect you with the office of your elected House member.
