Congress has named the conferees that will work on the final version of the Highway Bill when they return from recess on June 6. It is important for truckers to contact them, either by phone, fax, or if at all possible, in person and encourage them to include a mandatory fuel surcharge.

It is important he/she understand there is a flaw in the 85th percentile study used to determine safe speeds from the Oregon Department of Transportation.
